Teletherapy is a service offered for people who live anywhere in the state of Florida or Georgia. Teletherapy is an option if you are unable to attend counseling in person or if you prefer the convenience and flexibility of online sessions. Teletherapy sessions are similar to traditional mental health sessions with one major exception. Instead of sitting in the same room, we interact via live video conferencing. During our teletherapy sessions we can see, hear and interact with one another in real time.
The platform we use is a secure, confidential, HIPPA-compliant platform.
There is no special software to download- you will simply be provided a link to click on at the time of your session. You can use the camera and audio on your computer desk/laptop, tablet or other mobile device. It is that easy!
Before we begin teletherapy sessions, we will determine if this is the best treatment option for your needs. This can be done during a 10-minute phone chat. If you reside in the states of Florida or Georgia, where I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, many insurance providers cover teletherapy sessions. However, you must check with your specific provider and plan prior to our meeting.
